Every child is a unique individual who brings a natural sense of curiosity about the world and embracement of challenges. Children are natural risk takers and through calculated risks they begin to push the boundaries of their capabilities.

The Early Years department is on a journey to research, observe and inspire your child to explore his or her competencies and reach their potential. We desire to know your child deeply, and value the individuality your child brings to society. Working within a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, along with inquiry, play-based projects, teachers join students on their journey of promoting and provoking their love of learning and a sense of belonging. Utilizing this approach our focus is on these six themes:

  • Communication
  • Self-management skills
  • Research Skills
  • Creative, Critical, and Reflective Thinking
  • Social Competence
  • Physical Development

We believe parents, teachers, and a child’s environment are equal partners in cultivating a child’s passions and understandings. We invite you to join with us as we create a story of exploration, dialogue, and community.
