ISG Superintendent's Weekly Message

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your patience as we waited to hear from the Ministry of Education (MOE) regarding our tuition for the 2021-2022 school year.

Thank you also for working with us during this full year of virtual school. We recognize that families have had additional responsibilities placed on them because of virtual school and have made additional sacrifices as well, for this we are truly appreciative.

As you know, earlier this year we submitted a request to the MOE for an increase in tuition. Fees have been relatively unchanged for the past three years, as you can see from these tables.

While we’ve received MOE permission for a partial tuition increase for the next school year, we want to acknowledge the current situation and the unusual circumstances in which we find ourselves during this pandemic. As always, we strive to do what is best for our community. We are partners with you in your child’s education and, as such, we walk together side by side. We care.

Therefore, the ISG Board of Trustees has decided not to raise tuition for next year. Rates will continue at the current level. We believe this is important for our families and communities, given the financial impact of COVID in the Kingdom and worldwide.

This means that ISG will run a deficit next year. Although not ideal, we are prepared to manage this without affecting programs to our students.

We are all very excited about the next school year and look forward to having our students back on campus, starting August 23, 2021.

Given the circumstances of not knowing our tuition at the time of re-enrollment, we indicated that parents would have two weeks to withdraw and receive a seat deposit refund once fees were announced. Please submit this form by June 10, 2021 for any refund request.

I would like to thank you for your continued support of ISG and I look forward to welcoming you back to the ISG community next school year.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael P. Mack
