The school will be running Parent-Teacher Conferences on the afternoon of Thursday, 17th October, and across the full day on Saturday, 19th October. The sign ups for appointments are live at the moment. By following each step, you will then have an email sent to your inbox which you can then use to access the times that are available. If you require instructions on how to sign up for times, please use this link. Access to PTC sign-ups will close the day before each PTC.
As PTC’s will run from Thursday afternoon and Saturday all day, Thursday will be a student minimum day. No food will be available on Thursday lunchtime to students, as the buses will leave the school at 11:45, with conferences beginning a short time after. There will be no supervision of children so please ensure if you have a PTC and decide to keep your child in school after 11:35, that they are supervised by a parent.
Elementary school PTCs's will be held in the respective classrooms.
Here are some parent hints and tips:
- What can we expect?
- What should you talk to your teacher about?
- How should you follow up?
The information will enable you to be prepared for your child's PTC and be aware of how your child is doing in school. Please note, each section and focus may look different depending on grade levels. Your child is expected to also join your parent teacher conference, so we look forward to seeing you as well as your child in the meeting.
Middle and High School
MS/HS conferences will be held in an 'arena' setting, with parents signing up for one of multiple 70 minutes sessions, and then visiting teachers as needed. All teachers will be available in the Multi Purpose Room. The official schedule for conferences can be found by clicking Fall 2019 Conferences.
By the conference date, students will have completed learning reflections aimed to enhance the conference discussions. It is highly recommended that students attend the conferences with parents.
It is always a valuable experience when parents, teachers, and students are able to come together to share in the school experience. We place a high priority on these conferences and what they represent to our community, please make every effort to attend one of the conference sessions. Should you be unable to make it, also know that you are welcome to reach out and schedule a meeting with teachers at any time throughout the year.
