The ISG Jubail community is diverse and dynamic, welcoming families every year from all over the world. We understand the challenges and opportunities involved in making an international move to Saudi Arabia.
For families coming from International schools, the classrooms here will feel familiar, and you'll have the chance to see just how effectively new students settle in and become comfortable in and around the school. We work tirelessly to offer a comprehensive and positive school experience—academics, extracurricular, social - to each student.
We look forward to answering your questions, helping you with your transition, talking you through the admissions process and enabling you to become better acquainted with the school and its exciting and challenging program. In addition, our doors are always open for you to visit.
Parents are encouraged to be involved in our school. ISG Jubail believes that working with parents is not an option; it is essential, as children whose parents are interested in their work do better at school. In this spirit, we encourage our parents and teachers to work together toward educational growth for each individual child.
School Advisory Council
The purpose of the School Advisory Council is to provide input to the site principal on school improvement issues. The Council meets four times each year. The agenda usually includes the current state of the school, facilities and academics.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
ISG Jubail School has an active and involved parent volunteer group and all parents are encouraged to become part of the PTO, a nonprofit Parent/Teacher Organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians and staff at ISG Jubail School. Meetings are held at school on a monthly basis. The PTO sponsors multiple community-building and fund-raising activities during the course of the school year.
The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in classroom setting, holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.
We welcome parents who would like to help promote and run school events. ISG Jubail's PTO is a great way to become involved with school activities that truly benefit all our students. It is a friendly group and time commitment is determined by individual preference. Some parents like to help in many activities, while others choose particular events. Whatever involvement you can offer would be very welcome.
How to Get Involved:
- Attend meetings. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at ISG Jubail.
- Volunteer your time. This can be done at school or at home depending on the project and you can give as much time or as little time as your schedule will allow.
- Participate in planning committees for events.
- Help with fundraising ideas and initiatives.
- Support sports teams by volunteering to assist with concessions.
- Invite us to come to you - the PTO board is actively seeking individuals to host sessions at compounds.
