Admissions Process

We are now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 academic year.

ISG Jubail welcomes applications from students of all nationalities who are able to meet the demands of an academically challenging curriculum. Students are selected based upon past school records, teacher recommendations, standardized test scores and an applicant questionnaire.

 

Stage 1: Application

  1. Application. Please download an application form here. Be sure to read the Application Documents and Checklist prior to beginning an application.

  2. Documentation. Various documents must be submitted with the application, depending on the age of the child. Please refer to the Application Documents and Checklist for complete details.

  3. Application fee. There is a non-refundable, non-deferrable application fee of SAR 1,050 (SAR 1,000 + 5% VAT) required with each application.

Note: Only applications with all documentation complete and the application fee confirmed will be reviewed and considered for assessment.

 

Stage 2: Assessment and Decisions

Every applicant for ISG Jubail must be assessed before he or she is admitted to the school. This assessment is to determine the most successful placement of the applicant. Assessment are by appointment only. Assessments are NOT a guarantee of admission. Not all applicants will be assessed; assessments will depend on the availability of places.

  1. Assessment. An invitation for assessment will be sent to completed applications. Applications received during February 2019 will be assessed from March 17 to April 15 (KG1 to Grade 12).

  2. Application Review. The application file and assessment results are reviewed by the ISG Jubail Admissions Committee and an admissions decision is made.

  3. Decisions. The admissions decision is communicated to parents via email. If a place is not accepted by the deadline date, the place will be released to the next applicant.

 

Stage 3: Enrollment

  1. Seat Reservation Deposit. If a place is offered and accepted, a non-refundable and non-deferrable seat deposit of SAR 5,000 must be paid to secure your child’s place. This is not an additional fee as this amount is credited toward tuition.

  2. New Student Enrollment Fee. There is a one-time, non-refundable New Student Enrollment Fee of SAR 10,000 (+ VAT) per student.

  3. Contracts. A completed Enrollment Contract and Tuition and Fee Agreement must accompany the enrollment of every student.

  4. Health-Related Documents. Medical forms must be completed, signed and stamped by a medical doctor. A copy of the student’s immunization record must accompany the medical forms.

  5. Government Relations Documents. Ministry of Education (MoE) approval is requirement for most nationalities, including Saudis. American nationals are exempt. Please refer to the Application Documents and Checklist for further details.

 

Note: All students must receive clearance from the ISG Nurses’ Office, Government Relations and Finance Office prior to being fully enrolled. Students will not be permitted to attend school if these documents have not been submitted and approved.
